JAY Z LAUNCHES NEW SPORT MANAGEMENT COMPANY AND SIGNS NY YANKEES ‘ROBINSON CANO’ AS FIRST CLIENT.

Jay Z has been a success both in music and business. Apparently he’s been blossoming like the summer.

Jigga as he’s fondly called has launched Roc Nation Sports and signed NY Yankees Star Robinson Cano as first client. Jay Z is part owner of the Brooklyn Nets, clearly it didn’t stop there.

Roc Nation Sports, a full service sports management company and will be led by the rapper with Juan Perez serving as president. They have partnered with CAA Sports, a division of Creative Artists Agency to co-represent the All-Star second baseman.

In an official press release, Jigga elaborated on the reason for launching Roc Nation Sports:

“Because of my love for sports, it was a natural progression to form a company where we help top athletes in various sports the same way we help artists in the music industry for years.”

Cano, a four –time MLB All-Star, World Series champion and two-time Golden Glove Award winner, stated his comments for signing with CEO of Roc Nation:

“I am confident that the paring with Roc Nation Sports and CAA Sports will be essential in helping me accomplish my short-and long-term goals. I am making this decision now so I can help the Yankees succeed in 2013, while minimizing any distractions for me and my team mates.

KANYE WEST PLANS ON CALLING HIS ALBUM SINGLE “I AM ‘A’ GOD”

Kanye West as controversial as ever is planning on calling his latest album “I AM ‘A’ GOD”. It was rumored back in February on valentines day about the supposed controversial title. It turned out to be true according to The Huffington Post . Malik Yusef has cleared things up a bit in a tweet , saying the track is called “I AM GOD”, referencing Psalm 82, which reads:

I said, “You are Gods,

And all of you are children of the Most High.

But you shall die like men,

And fall like one of the princes.”

A source told Huffington Post that the emphasis was on “A”, as, “We would never be so presumptuous or sacrilegious to call ourselves the Supreme Being.”

Kanye is also planning on working again with the director for his controversial video “Power”, video director Marco Brambilia for another ambitious, hyper-visual video project for the single.

Hitfix has also confirmed that both Malik Yusef and The-Dream have recorded tracks for the LP. The-Dream spoke of his work with Kanye saying that he’s flying to Paris to work with Kanye in a couple of weeks. Yusef gave more insight on the album saying it will not have a heavy amount of singing as on 808’s and Heartbreak.
